Ashok, a visionary consultant, embarked on a transformation journey. His first stop was a manufacturer in Asia Pacific, a leading heavy equipment & component manufacturer. He met Brad, a dedicated service manager, managing $50 mil worth of service business, who navigated a labyrinth of outdated systems.

Brad explained their predicament: a complex web of software, thousands of labor rates, and inflated part markups by each shop. Their service quotes were nearly double competitors' prices, primarily due to the absence of a unified Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) platform.

Further investigation revealed seven disparate tools, with data laboriously copy-pasted into an ERP quote. This fragmented process led to scope creep, billing disputes, customer dissatisfaction, rework, and significant revenue loss. Ashok pondered, "Surely, there's a better way?"

His next assignment took him to a conglomerate in South America. Here, Ashok observed a similar pattern, compounded by disconnected digital operations generating a deluge of digital alerts. Their backend ERP couldn't process this data into actionable revenue opportunities.

Manual lead creation, devoid of context or repair costs, was rampant. When Ashok spoke with end customers, he discovered that most recommendations were dismissed, lacking clear links to outcomes, costs, or tangible actions. The cycle of inefficiency continued.

In another transformation project at a Caterpillar Dealer, Ashok found highly customized ERPs struggling with even medium-complex contracts. Truly complex agreements were managed entirely off-system, relying on spreadsheets and a large team, leading to a support staff of over 100.

These recurring challenges ignited a spark in Ashok. The burgeoning capabilities of AI-led automation further solidified his conviction: a truly transformative solution was needed.

His final pre-startup assignment revealed a staggering $9 million in warranty losses for a battery manufacturer. Attempts to build a solution using existing ERP and CRM systems proved to be mere patchwork, lacking genuine automation.

Ashok realized that manufacturers needed a dedicated solution to thrive in aftersales, where service contributes nearly 40% of total revenue. He extensively interviewed customers, users, and industry experts, meticulously gathering insights.
